We’re workin’ on it! Solana Beach will soon support property tax solar financing.

When Will the Program Start?

The city hopes to start accepting applications from property owners by summer 2009. It is estimated that about 3,900 homes and 1,200 businesses would be eligible for participation in the city of 13,500 residents. The program will be made possible by the AB811 law, which allows loan programs to pay back investments in renewable energy systems through property tax payments.
